RIDGID MODEL 27A, Bench yoke vises mount to a workbench, tabletop, or other flat surface for use where pipe threading, cutting, and welding are part of everyday operations. They clamp their yoke head onto pipe to lock it down and prevent rolling or shifting. The yoke provides multiple points of contact to tightly hold round pipe, and it won't snap like a chain vise if overtightened. A pipe rest at the back of the vise supports pipe along its length.
