TILLMAN MODEL 42XL, These MIG (metal inert gas) welding gloves have a pigskin leather palm. The pigskin leather palm softens with use, withstands moisture without becoming stiff, and has better breathability than other leathers. MIG welding gloves are lighter and more dexterous than stick welding gloves and protect against burns caused by sparks and medium heat. MIG welding is used to create clean welds on thick or thin plate metals in high-production environments, including manufacturing, automotive, railroad, metalworking, and farm applications.
