DEWALT MODEL DWV010, HEPA filters in these extractors capture finer silica dust than non-HEPA filters. They filter 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Models that are OSHA Table 1 compliant pair with a compatible tool and extractor attachment to mitigate silica dust to an acceptable level as set by OSHA’s Respirable Crystalline Silica Standard 1926.1153.
