OTC MODEL 1820, Engine cranes (or hoists) help remove or install engines in small or crowded vehicle engine compartments. These lifting devices have beamed supports to hold the engine up over a vehicle so that maintenance can be performed on parts, hoses, electrical wiring, or timing chains. Cranes are used with engine stand supports to safely rotate engines for repairs anywhere on the vehicle.
